Let’s be honest, the holiday season goes hand in hand with indulgent and tasty food. The best bit is, that it doesn’t matter whether your diet is gluten free, dairy free, vegan or paleo, you can still enjoy loads of amazing free from treats. Here are some of the products that are going to be part of the Fifi Friendly festive celebrations this year.
Rana’s Bakery makes the most amazing gluten free bread mixes. These are perfect all year round but especially ideal if you are hosting dinner and want fresh bread. I featured Rana in my Festive Fast Five recently and had so many lovely responses from readers who adore her artisan bread mixes too. We are big fans of the Super Sourdough and New Italian …. both of which will be making an appearance on Christmas Day. For those of you who prefer to have their bread ready-made, Rana’s Bakery also deliver fresh artisan bread which can be frozen for up to 3 months.
We first fell in love with Candy Kittens at the Allergy and Free From Show at Olympia last summer. Hot diggity dang …. Candy Kittens taste good and they only use natural flavourings and colourings. You can imagine the level of excitement when we realised that they do Christmas Crackers too. Each Candy Kittens Craacker includes 4 packs of their gourmet gluten free sweets, a keyring, a pencil, a sew-on patch and a sticker. This has to be one of my favourite stocking fillers!
One of my friends recently said that her breakfast of choice on Christmas Day is chocolate. I love her style …. I am also sure that I have a brother who has a similar breakfast choice. The award winning range by Chocolate and Love is one of my favourites. They are affordable, organic, ethically made and on top of being gluten free and soya free, 5 of the variants are also dairy free. My particular favourites …. ( yes that is a plural)…. are the Sea Salt & Caramel, Creamy Dark 55% and Orange 65%.
Delicious Alchemy will be appearing in the Fifi Friendly kitchen at several points over this festive season. All of their products are really easy to make and are wonderfully gluten and dairy free. The kids adore making the Ginger Bread Biscuit Mix and Chocolate Brownies, so these will be included the afternoon tea we are preparing for my brothers. For my Stepfather, Christmas is not Christmas without a Fruit Cake and the dairy and gluten free Christmas Fruit Cake Mix is a winner! On Christmas Day we will also be trying out the Delicious Alchemy Sage and Red Onion Stuffing Mix. I cannot wait.
