REN Satin Perfection BB Cream SPF15

This week I have to say I have been enjoying getting to feel the sun’s warmth on my face for the first time in what felt like a very long time. Hello February in Scotland! Like many other people in the UK the thought of an SPF never used to be at the forefront of my mind in winter months, however this last winter I have been including more BB and CC creams into my daily routine to cover this off.

One product in my day to day skincare rotation is the Satin Perfection BB Cream by REN. This cream has a number of plus points on top of it’s SPF 15. It gives a great coverage, which is almost matte at first before becoming more gently luminous. This is not a product for you if you are a “dewy glow” fan. It is subtle and leaves the skin fairly flawless.

I much prefer the newer tube style packaging compared to the old pump bottle. Good light SPF protection in a light to medium colour for day to day use, although you would want a higher SPF if sitting out in the sun! I do tend to be more medium skin toned and I was worried that in summer this would be too light, however I have seen it adapt to my skin tone pretty well. One of the best things about this product is that it leaves my skin non-oily. I am ready to apply any other make up really quickly and it does not transfer onto my clothes. Pretty Good. £31 for 50ml.
