Salcura Hand Wash for Sensitive & Dry Skin

If you have kids of a young age …. or if you have a certain kind of OCD ….. you will be used to washing your hands ….. A LOT!! My hands have gone from being in fairly good shape with something that is called nice nails (wow what a novelty) to dried out, dermatitis prone and sensitive hands with nails barely long enough to open a can of juice! Add the fact that most hand soaps on the market, even the gentler ones, have some form of drying SLS and often contain chemicals and my hands have no escape. No sooner do you apply hand cream to salvage the skin and you have  a reason to wash them again.

Following my recent discovery of Salcura Bioskin Junior Products and their Body Hydrator, I was ecstatic to unearth that they also do a Hand Wash for Sensitive & Dry Skin (www.salcuraskincare.com).  The 225ml bottle comes with a pump dispenser…..which infuriates my kids as they can’t leave the soap at the bottom of the sink to dissolve away…..and is a godsend to me for when you need to wash your hands quickly and efficiently. The hand wash has a clear yellow tone to it and is made out of a special blend of natural oils, vitamins and minerals that include soothing sea buckthorn oil, borage leaf, yarrow flower, sunflower oil, nettle leaf, rosemary leaf extract, orange peel and argan oil.

They claim to clean the skin at the same time as hydrating and restoring the skins moisture levels. There is not enough space on the back of the bottle to write all the great things I found it to do. It has a gentle and pleasant smell. My hands felt thoroughly cleansed and non greasy. Whats more I did not feel that I had to put hand cream on immediately afterwards. My skin did not feel dry, tight or itchy, it felt surprisingly moisturised. This was breakthrough for me as this is not how my hands are used to feeling after washing.  I noticed how much I liked this hand wash when I came back to using it after being away for a couple of days.
