The truth of the matter is that we have a heck of a lot of gluten free snacks in our house. Today’s snackage came in the form of this box of Luke’s Chia Seed Multigrain & Seed Crackers that I found in the cupboard. It had clearly been put up high to stop little children snaffling the box before I got a chance to try them. Trust me, this is the lengths I have to go to. If it is not the kids it is their father that plunges into packets before I get a chance to take the obligatory un-opened box photo. It was only with a small amount of guilt that I tried them when no-one else is in the house. As soon as my chief testers returned from school I happily shared them with the rest of the crew.
Now, honestly, I can not tell you when I bought these or even where, but what I can tell you is that they totally rock. Luke, a coeliac, wanted to find crackers that were gluten free, tasty and could not be likened to cardboard in any way! So, he made some himself. He has succeeded where so many have failed. These taste utterly delicious by themselves. Yes, you can also add some cheese or hummus or whatever topping you desire and they will taste equally as good. For me, this morning, these crackers were flying solo. Deliciously so.
The Luke’s Chia Seed Multigrain & Seed Crackers are organic, made in California, whole grain, non-gmo, kosher and free from soy, gluten, dairy, peanut and tree-nut.
