Living Nature Clear Lights Tinted Moisturiser

About 7 years ago I came across Living Nature products on an Air New Zealand flight to Los Angeles. (clearly in my pre-kids days!).  I came back from the plane toilet with great excitement after finding a host of Fifi Friendly Living Nature products.  The flight steward must have heard my excited squawking and regrettably told me that they did not sell the products on board but he would see if  there were any full sizes to spare….we arrived in LAX with the newly gifted Purifying hand wash and Nourishing hand cream safely packed in our hand luggage.

Around about the same time I starting using a great tinted moisturiser by Chantecaille. Probably one of my all time favourite beauty products …..until the ingredients were changed. It was no longer Fifi Friendly and made my skin itch…..not cute. (If we were to make a movie scene of me finding out that my ultimate beauty product was no longer Fifi Friendly, I would probably have been on a deserted beach screaming out noooooooooooooo, but with no volume coming out!!)

The search for a replacement started. I can’t tell you how many I have tried…..but there has been a lot, along with a lot of despondency. None have been purchased again. Where was I going to find a successor with great warm colour, luminosity, good coverage and a healthy glow? At the weekend I had a delivery of the Clear Lights Tinted Moisturiser by Living Nature www.livingnature.com. Woo hoo…. It is amazing. I could tell the moment it hit my skin that I was going to love it. This product is in a 50ml half moon shape super sleek container and comes in three different tints: – Dawn Light, Day light and Evening Light.  My tint/colour, Day light,  is the medium tone and gave a subtle warmth to my skin. It instantly made me feel great. Skin was soft to touch, appeared smoother, had the right amount of luminosity and looked like I had been on a mini break……which unfortunately I have not. No surprise then to find out this tinted moisturiser includes the utterly skin friendly avocado oil, manuka honey and jojoba oil.

Ten points to the other half who commented on my appearance positively…. and quickly. My mum decided she fancied a shot and also loved how it looked, smelt and felt on skin. Her only downside was her dark olive tone skin would have preferred the darker tint. The product smells divine. Not overpowering and perfumed but natural. Almost honey-like with a bit of jojoba mixed in. I love the black half moon shaped packaging. Good shape of product and very compact. The flip (unlikely to leak) top cap dispenses the perfect amount of product. A little of product goes a long way. Several hours after application it was still covering well.

Living Nature, you have succeeded were I thought no other tinted moisturiser would. I love your product. Yes, it does not state to have an SPF, but I saw titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in the ingredients, which are found in mineral sunscreens and act like a physical sunblock. This was my first make up product of yours to try. It gave my skin a natural dewy glow. I will be actively discovering more of  your range in the very near future. 5* Fifi Friendly.
