How to Drink Apple Cider Vinegar

How to Drink Apple Cider Vinegar

I was first introduced to apple cider vinegar by the  New York Times bestselling author Sophie Uliano.  Sophie has never let me down with her fabulous tips and I picked up a bottle at my local Whole Food Market. To start with I was a little curious about the hype surrounding apple cider vinegar, that was before I started to enjoy the benefits myself.

I take about a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and add it to a glass of water first thing in the morning.  Let’s not beat around the bush, the first time you try it you are likely to not enjoy this as a drink. That being said, do keep trying it every day. I actually found myself looking forward to it by the end of the first week!

You might be one of the people who struggle to drink down your glass of diluted apple cider vinegar without gagging, first of all try using more water to dilute.  Next up try mixing in a little raw honey, lemon, unfiltered apple juice or cayenne pepper . Depending on your taste preference there are a load of options to mix it up. If all else fails use apple cider vinegar a part of your salad dressing. Every little helps.

There are loads of benefits to taking apple cider vinegar including

  • Great for your digestion.
  • Improves bloating, indigestion or acid reflux
  • Minerals absorption. Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid which can increase your body’s absorption of key vitamins and minerals.
  • Mix it in with your shampoo to help relieve dandruff

Apple cider vinegar took its place in my kitchen last year and has now become a staple. Why not check out my apple cider vinegar video here to find out more benefits.
