I have said it before and I will say it again, I hate how the lines around my eyes have just crept up on me over the last few years. I have tried numerous eye creams, eye gels, blah blah blah and although I have noticed better hydration around the eye area, these pesky crows feet have not been ironed out….enough! I get that it is an age thing, but am totally looking for any help in this area. My search for a good eye product that looks like it has taken years off me has been a long one.
The Eyes have it
One of the products I have been loving for a while is by Aurelia Probiotic Skincare. As soon as I heard of these eye products being described as wrinkle zappers my ears naturally pricked up! A wake up call for your eyes
The Revitalise & Brighten Eye Dew (£42) is a cooling wake up call for your eyes in the morning…. and boy do my eyes need it and enjoy it. I love the easy rollerball application especially! Not only does this cooling rollerball feel great on the skin, it also perfectly dispenses the exquisite blend of ingredients that includes actives, botanicals, Aurelia’s signature probiotic, peptide and repair technologies.
The Eye Dew is my favourite of the two Aurelia eye products. Described as scientifically proven to result in an age correction improvement of 5 years in 28 days of daily use, do I find this product live up to its claims?
I personally noticed fairly quickly how it improved the appearance of my dark circles and made my eyes look brighter…. markedly so….. and this was within my first two weeks of using it. I also find a change in the moisturisation and firmness of the skin around my eyes. However it is the brightness under my eyes that is the biggest change when I use this. That alone make me feel like years are taken off me…… woo hoo.
Powerhouse concoction
Blending beautifully with the Revitalise & Brighten Eye Dew is Aurelia’s Illuminate & Smooth Puff Reduction Eye Cream (£48). Coming in a jar with its own small black spatula, this cream holds a lovely rich texture and smells deliciously of rose. Contrary to its rich texture it does actually smooth into the skin quickly when patted around the orbital bone.
As with all of Aurelia’s range, the signature probiotic and repair technologies are on hand to help reduce inflammation in the skin.
