The Miracle Cleanser by Aurelia Probiotic Skincare

Aurelia probiotic cleanser

What better than a girls trip away to bring along some products to pamper with. There were no kids, no husbands and we called it the weekend of zero responsibility. The fact that we were only away for one night was clearly ignored when we chose the name. Amazing. As we settled down chill out, I brought out the pampering goods from Aurelia Probiotic Skincare ,including my new multi award winning Miracle Cleanser that I treated myself to recently (£34 for 120ml).   Although I have been a fan of this cleanser since the fabby Aurelia team introduced me to it in Space NK, now my besties had the opportunity to be included in this trial…..  I refrained from calling them my lab rats?

Having been used to using either a balm or oil based cleanser for a while, it felt fab to use a more creamy cleanser. Sometimes it is nice to just switch it up.  Aurelia Probiotic Skincare really prides itself on it’s use of probiotic and peptide technologies . If you aren’t completely up to date with the use of probiotics in skincare,  Aurelia have a really informative website which tells you more about their science. Aurelia Probiotic Skincare have cleverly used these technologies along with BioOrganic plant and flower essences to make this intelligent cleanser. Harnessing the strength of these powerful natural ingredients with the gentleness of being from nature itself, this cleanser is perfect for any type of skin, including sensitive.

So what was it like to use? This Miracle Cleanser is really cooling to apply.  I find it to have a whipped cream like texture which doesn’t stick to or drag the skin, but smooths along the surface, making it great for massaging onto dry skin. I massaged the cleanser in for a couple of minutes in small circular movements. You can of course do this for a shorter period of time, however I like to take in the moment and enjoy all the scents.

Uplifting

The aroma of this cleanser is definitely uplifting and is a glorious blend of  Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Bergamot. Aromatically it is quite therapeutic too. To wash the Miracle Cleanser off  you dampen the bamboo muslin in warm water, before wiping it over your skin. I found it only took a few repeats of this to rinse off all the product. My skin felt quite fresh and pure as I patted it dry.

I always like to inspect my skin after a good cleanse and I noticed how clear my pores looked after my first trial.  Feedback from my other testers was equally as good. One described it as being “really nice”, “left my skin feeling amazing” and “ooh I like, it smells too good”. If you are used to using a balm cleanser you will probably have a load of muslins at home.  A mini poll I did showed that a number of you found that your muslins became quite rough after washing and now scrape your skin. Not so good. Aurelia have their own anti-bacterial bamboo muslin in the box. First point to note is this bamboo muslin is anti-bacterial. Secondly, it washes well and far from being scratchy, it remains soft. Thirdly, it is organic.

Finally …. Aurelia, to me have their branding just perfect.  The colour, the vibe and even the names of their products. There is nothing wishy washy about them. They are attention grabbing in a classy, feminine and BioOrganic way. On top of this they are award winning too. Having tried a number of their products including their Eye Revitalising Duo, Firm & Revitalise Body Oil,  and the Refine & Polish Miracle Balm I was excited to get my paws on their Miracle Cleanser too. It has not disappointed.

Would I recommend it?

Yes and for a few reasons. Price wise it is bang on the money given the quality of the ingredients. This cleanser is effective – it is naturally powerful and does not leave your skin with any film on it.  The signature Aurelia aroma and fluffy cream texture are spot on. Finally this product is Fifi Friendly because, like all Aurelia products, it is free from parabens, synthetic fragrances & colours, PEGS, GMOs, phthalates, mineral oil, silicone, sulphates, propylene glycol, TEA and DEA.
