Today’s Fifi Friendly Festive Fast Five guru is Maleka Dattu, the wonderful Creator and Founder of MERUMAYA Integrative Skincare. Since its creation in 2010, this paraben free British brand has grown an army of fans and is loved by the beauty editors and bloggers alike. 1) What would you love to find under the Christmas Tree or in your Stocking this year?
As a woman; and end to the suffering and control of women and children world-wide.
As a mother; a promise from the universe that my daughter will always be happy, healthy and fulfilled.
As business woman; a promise from the universe that my business will grow and be mega successful….immediately please!
As a girl with a greedy gene…..An Intensive course with Louise Parker that finally see’s my ‘inner, thinner self’ be a reality. A course of painting tuition. a huge win on the lottery.
As a fantasist – a trip to include a private plane and a couple of weeks on Necker island for us, family and friends.
As a realist – a pair of jeans.
As a spiritualist – just being happy with my entire family on Christmas day.
2) Do you have any top tips to keep us looking stunning over the festive season?
Engage with the spirit of the season whatever your beliefs. See the funny side of things at every occasion and laugh as much as possible. Balance the seasons excess’s with counter initiatives e.g. drink white/green tea, use face masks (Mud Marvels Mask) and peels (Skin Brightening Exfoliating Peel) more regularly, also products loaded with anti-oxidants (iconic Youth Serum) and nourishing oils (Everything Everywhere Beauty Oil). Do not, repeat do not, have a month of not taking your make up off! I must cleanse, I must cleanse…(Melting Cleansing Balm). Have a couple of massages or foot massages at least. Drink lots of water and try not to drink alcohol on an empty stomach. Do good things – help an elderly neighbour. As kids, my Dad used to make us go and sing Christmas carols to an elderly couple who’s own kids did not visit them and he took them Christmas food shopping – giving makes you happy which equals gorgeous.
3) What 3 products can you not live without? Iconic Youth Serum, Intensely Youthful Eye Cream, lashings of Mascara 4) Best bit of 2015 and what are you looking forward to most about 2016 There were so many best bits of 2015. Most centre around my daughter who is a joy and started school this year. The other is MERUMAYA reaching 3rd anniversary and just feeling blessed that we are no suffering as so many people are in the world. 5)My New Year’s Resolution is ……
To be fitter, trimmer, kinder, more patient.
