Festive Fast Five is back …. and you are in for a treat with this blinder of a line up. Changing it up slightly for 2018, I have reached out to some of the accounts that I have enjoyed following and reading this year. Starting us off today is leading A-list facialist, Abigail James.
I first heard about Abigail after being recommended to read her book Love Your Skin – Your Ultimate Guide To A Glowing Complexion by a good friend. I loved her approach to great skincare through lifestyle, good products and massage.
With a permanent residency at the Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair, James is known as the “Skin Coach” and is one of the most sought after skincare experts in London. Ahead of the festive season definitely check out Abigail’s YouTube channel for some great skincare, wellbeing and facial massage tips!
Today Abigail James answer’s the Fifi Friendly Festive Fast Five …. (but purely because I could not decide which great answer to edit out…. we will start with a “festive six”).
What is your top beauty tip to keep that glow this festive season and well-being tip from 2018? Don’t forget to drink your water between the bubbles. A face mask in the morning is a simple way to add to your skincare routine without trying – how about the five days of Christmas face masks. Without your mental health everything else diminishes into insignificant.
Five products that I could not live without are …. Trilogy Cleansing Oil, Cosmedix Benefit Clean, Osmosis Stem Factor, Image Skincare Vital C Mask and Augustinus Bader rich cream.
Which five people from past or present would you love to celebrate New Years Eve or have Christmas Dinner with? I’d only want fun, happy people who brighten up a room! My mother – she is still here physically but mentally dementia has taken her. Megan Markle – she just seems so lovely and happy and fun. Kate Winslet – fun fun fun. Victoria Beckham – a fellow mother of lots of children who I think is so funny and the ultimate boss woman. My daughter – she’s such a mini me, totally on the same wavelength, intelligent but knows how to let her hair down.
What is your best bit of 2018 and what are you looking forward to most in 2019? So many achievements from my children I am so proud of this year, exam results, just growing into such lovely adults, one off to Uni another getting into the Brit School. 2019 is all about some exciting work plans …. you’ve got to watch this space!!
This year I have tried to live a little greener by …. Being firmer at home on the recycling, in a family household with teenagers it’s not always possible for everyone to been top of it.
My new year’s resolution is …. Be happy, keep going, water your own grass rather than looking at others, count my blessings daily, you never know whats around the corner.
