Claire Vero – Festive Fast Five

Claire Vero Aurelia Festive Fast Five

Returning for her third year of the Festive Fast Five is Claire Vero, Founder of Aurelia Probiotic Skincare. Winning in excess of 100 awards globally since its conception in 2013, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare was one of the first brands to successfully use probiotics in skincare alongside 100% pure BioOrganic botanicals.

This luxury and innovative skincare brand delivers results by protecting, restoring and balancing the skin from within but without the questionable ingredients we have been learning more about.

I have been a bit of an Aurelia devotee since I first tried their products nearly 4 years ago. Their Aromatic Repair & Brighten Hand Cream is rarely out of my bag and their Miracle Cleanser and Cell Repair Night Oil never fail me. My kids have also became fans of the award-winning Little Aurelia range since it was launched last year.

I am delighted to have one of my favourite skincare entrepreneurs back to answer the Festive Fast Five today.

Christmas in the snow or sun? It’s got to be Christmas in the snow, or the cold at least! There’s nothing more festive than bundling inside after a wintry walk to mugs of hot chocolate for the little ones and delicious spiced mulled wine for the grown-ups! We have recently moved to the country and although it won’t be this year, I can’t wait until I can decorate and host Christmas day in front of the big cosy fireplace.

What is your top beauty tip to keep that glow this festive season?  Of course I’m an advocate for using Aurelia Probiotic Skincare and one of the best ways to maintain a beautiful glow is to make sure you are cleansing perfectly every evening, to remove any makeup or impurities from the skin. Exfoliation is key too so a good 10 minutes using the Refine & Polish Miracle Balm as a mask will keep the skin super soft and glowing. Depending on the time of day, I would suggest a couple of drops of the new The Probiotic Concentrate™ mixed with the Cell Repair Night Oil for a luminous, dewy glow when skin needs it most.

Five products that I could not live without The Probiotic Concentrate™ – this is fast becoming my new favourite product and helps target a multitude of skin concerns. Cell Repair Night Oil – Always a favourite, this does wonders for my skin all year round and smells absolutely divine.  Aromatic Repair & Brighten Hand Cream – My hands can get quite dry especially in the winter and with all the hand washing involved in looking after an 18 month old! This hand cream keeps my hands soft and nourished without them feeling greasy.  Botanical Cream Deodorant – I believe this is the BEST natural deodorant out there! If you haven’t tried it already then what are you waiting for?  Epsom Salts – I have always been a firm believer in the power of Epsom Salts to help relax you in the bath. There’s nothing I love more than a good soak and these salts help relieve any muscle aches and a skin healers too.

What is your best bit of 2018 and what are you looking forward to most in 2019? We launched The Probiotic Concentrate™ this year which was the culmination of years of research into probiotics, and one product that I am hugely proud of! It’s a real skincare marvel and can be used to boost your current routine or used on its own for a powerful hit of probiotics to help repair the skin. We have even more products planned for 2019 which I can’t wait to introduce to our loyal customers and more exciting things planned for Little Aurelia too.

This year I have tried to live a little greener by …..Greatly cutting down on my plastic use. I think as a nation we were all horrified by the shocking scenes of plastic pollution on Blue Planet II. Not only has this helped galvanise everyone from small communities to the government to take action, but it has made us all think about our contribution. Where possible Aurelia uses recyclable glass jars and bottles as well as paper-based packaging with no plastic shrink wrap. We are actively looking at ways we can make our footprint as green as possible in the future too.
