Over the last few days I have had my sister-in-law visiting from the US. Her list of things that the kids wanted her to do when she was in Edinburgh mostly involved food. You know, because you can never have too much sushi or gelato. I however wanted to introduce her to some skincare heroes. After her long haul flight there were so many great products that I hoped she would adore. There were a few stand out favourites but there was one brand that made the biggest impact on her. The range from UK facialist and skincare expert Emma Hardie.
Emma Hardie has brilliantly developed her own high quality range of paraben free skincare products that are designed to lift and smooth tired skin without the use of harsh chemicals. Her range is effective on any complexion and is available in a number of online retail sites and bricks & mortar stores including Space NK and Marks & Spencer… making it brilliantly accessible!
The make up demolisher!
The first product the SIL ( sis in law) tried was a sample of the award-winning and cult beauty fave the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. I first tried this balm during a week away in February and pretty instantly became a fan. Can we take a minute to appreciate how gorgeous this cleansing balm smells! I loved how it demolished my make up and also could be used as a mask. Also importantly for me, I really enjoyed the home facial massaging techniques recommend by Emma. This balm contains moringa seed extract, wild sea fennel, pore minimising vitamin E, extract of rejuvenating neroli and mandarin and skin rehydrating rose, jasmine and cedarwood.
After a very successful trial it was not to long before we took a visit to the brilliant Nicola in the beauty team at Marks & Spencer Edinburgh Gyle to learn a bit more about the rest of the range. Marks & Spencer have such a great range of brands in their Beauty department, including a few cleaner beauty brands and also some really knowledgeable staff. Fast forward to the SIL heading back to Chicago with majority of the range. The rest of the range has apparently bought yesterday after we watched the Caroline Hirons Emma Hardie Brand Overview. Clever move!
