EAT // My kids both love ginger ale. I know it took me by surprise too. When my youngest is feeling a bit poorly it is one of the first things she asks for is ginger. So, as I try to channel my inner domestic goddess, I decided to try and make some myself. I figured it I could be the outcome of a ginger shot and fizzy water combo!
I bought some ginger, juiced it and added a little coconut nectar to it. This last part can be left off but I did this to sweeten it a little for the kids. Then simply add sparkling water. Another option is to cook the chopped ginger with a little water until it is mushy…. technical cooking term. Then sieve and add to sparkling water. Super easy.

I love ginger as it’s getting colder now. Will have to try this out at home.
