One of the kids brands that I have had the most response back on is Bioskin Junior by Salcura Skincare. Whether it be in person, in email or on line, families who read the original blog have tried it have loved it. Many, like us, were stuck in a rut of trying to find the cream/ointment/product from the doctor that would relieve their children of eczema and severe skin dryness. I gave one friend a sample the Outbreak Cream the day before she went on holiday as her daughter had a flare up on her arm. She later contacted me from said holiday to ask where to buy as she was going to order some to be at home for her return. Another parent had struggled for a year with her baby who had severe eczema and could not believe the difference Bioskin Junior had made in just one week. She has now said goodbye to steroid creams for good.
It felt like the right time to try more of the range and Salcura kindly sent me the Bioskin Junior Bathtime Shampoo and Bathtime Face & Body Wash to try. The packaging follows the same design and the products were still naturally active with 92% coming from natural origin. Both products contain no

We already use the Bioskin Junior Bath Milk but sometimes it is easier to have a shower and the Bioskin Bathtime Face & Body Wash is perfect for these occassions. It cleaned our skin well and did not irritate any dry skin areas. The kids found it fun to apply and the dispenser is good for them to use also. The gentle and soothing properties of the chamomile and lavender in this product soothed the skin. I would be happy to use this on kids who do not have eczema prone skin as it is effective and natural. In fact the same can be said for the whole range.
I am yet to find a Bioskin Junior product that I don’t really like. Anyone who has tried the Bath Milk or Outbreak Cream should complete the range with these two also. What is not to love and when the kids skin is at ease, it is a no brainer. They protect the skin when it is calm and give it what it needs during flare ups. They are very child friendly, skin friendly and naturally clean, soothe and nourish the skin. I will continue to use these even when there are no flare ups in eczema.
