Last year I had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous Founder of Aurelia Probiotic Skincare, Claire Vero and some of her team at Space NK in Edinburgh. I instantly became a fan. In January 2013 Claire harnessed her pharmaceutical marketing background and dermatology knowledge to make the science led, results driven, very natural and also extremely luxurious Aurelia skincare range. From the word go this stunning British brand has skyrocketed. It sold out within 72 hours of launch on Net-a-Porter and has gone on to win award after award after award! In fact in the short time they have been in the very competitive skincare market, they have won a staggering amount of awards, worldwide beauty editor praise and a large fan base. Today, Claire is answering the Fifi Friendly Festive Fast Five. What a treat!
1) What would you love to find under the Christmas Tree or in your Stocking this year?
I love the little Celine Trio Bag, it’s a great size and it has a long strap to wear as a cross-body. Very practical and so smart! There’s a gorgeous version in black leather which I have my eye on.

2) Do you have any top tips to keep us looking stunning over the festive season?
First and foremost it’s all about cleansing. Invest in a good cleansing cream like the Miracle Cleanser and keep your skin glowing. It’s amazing at removing all makeup and impurities and maintains skin hydration and suppleness without stripping the skin. Secondly try and drink at least eight glasses of water a day. This is something we should all be doing but especially during the festive season when the mulled wine is flowing! Drinking lots of water keeps the skin looking radiant and healthy, and helps with almost every cell function in our bodies. Thirdly, if you’re taking the time to perfect a gorgeous party look with your makeup, ensure the skincare products you apply first are doing wonders for your skin. I never start my makeup without applying the Revitalise & Glow Serum for a beauty boost followed by the Cell Revitalise Day Moisturiser which perfectly primes skin for makeup, giving it a velvety softness.
Seeing my little boy Henry start walking! He is just so sweet and every day with him is an adventure. I can’t wait to celebrate his second birthday in March and to start hearing him talk properly, I’m looking forward to knowing what he’s thinking. Although I’m sure I already know his opinions on the Gruffalo and Peppa Pig…!
5) My New Year’s Resolution is …… To keep up my new healthy eating and exercise routine. It has been a challenge but I am loving my personal training sessions and I feel like I have more energy to work hard and play with Henry too!
