Butternut Box has been delivering weekly boxes of fresh and home cooked dog food to lots of very happy pooches around the UK. Most noteworthy, Mr Dog in the Fifi Friendly household is one of them. All of Butternut Box’s dog food is a nutritionally complete and  made from of human grade ingredients.

Is your four legged friend a fussy eater? Does your dog have a sensitive stomach or allergies? Is your beloved fido just like Mr Dog, who just loves food?  I guarantee that whatever kind of foodie or eater your dog is ….. they will adore these meals.  It is little surprise why this new weekly delivery service has been doing so well with the dog lovers of the UK.

Today the  Founders of Butternut Box, Kevin Glynn (KG) and David Nolan (DN), answering the Fifi Friendly Fest Fast Five.

1. What would you love to find under the Christmas Tree this year?

DN – As long as my dog Daisy hasn’t already eaten it before I get there, I’m grateful for anything i receive. As long as it’s not socks.

KG – Boxing 1×1 personal training classes. If I get them, I am a very happy man.

2. What is your favourite festive food, tradition or way to celebrate the holidays?

DN – I usually crawl straight from the dinner table to the couch and fall asleep with our other dog, Rudie.  She’s an excellent nap partner

KG – That’s an easy one – Sitting down with my mum, dad, brother, sister and Ace (my dog) watching a Christmas movie accompanied with some pudding that we have just set on fire.

3. What product are you looking forward to decorating your home with this Christmas?

DN – My mum is in charge of the decoration at our family home. Any attempted collaboration between me and my sister always ended up with a fight, so I stay well out of it now and shout encouragement from the sofa.

KG – I go back to Dublin for the holidays so admittedly I am not the decorator on this occasion! I do hang up my own individual Christmas decoration on the tree that I have had since the age of 2 so that is my claim to fame.

4. What is your best bit of 2016 and what are you looking forward to most in 2017?

DN – Launching the company has been a dream come true. The stories of two dogs that we really helped with (Misty and Sascha) made me extremely happy and proud of what we are trying to do.  Making friends with some of our earliest clients really has been the cherry on the cake. In 2017 I hope that we can continue the work that we have started and become known as people who care deeply about providing great food and service for dogs and families across the UK

KG – I got a mail from a client this year saying “Thank you for creating such a wonderful company :)”. That comment has stuck. For 2017, I am looking forward to growing our team, helping more dogs and making pet parents happy along the way.

5. My new year’s resolution is ….

DN –
taking time to enjoy the small wins along the way, and getting fit again. It turns out that making dogs healthier has taken its toll on me!

KG – Meditating 10 minutes in the morning, reading one book a month and back to the gym 4 times a week. Keeping it simple and building on good habits.
