When a family member, aka a skincare aficionado, told me of their love for C Tango I definitely took note. I also very much appreciated it being parts of a Drunk Elephant gift set I got this last Christmas. It seems that slowly but surely I am making my way through the whole range in some way shape or form. This sample size included!
Simply put the Drunk Elephant C Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream has a balmy texture that magically, yet weightlessly, seems to blur the skin around my eyes. Love the consistency. Zero heaviness. All the hydration. Zero greasy after effects or pilling, making it a great option for under your concealer!
If you are looking for a smoothing and fabulously hydrating eye cream and one that lightens under the eyes, try this out. Actually pigging adore this product and will be levelling up from my sample size to full size.
What’s it made with?
C Tango has a hot list of ingredients including skin loving blend of 8 peptides, ceramides, cucumber extract, hyaluronic acid, an antioxidant called ubiquinone, marula and other plant oils. Finally, C Tango has not one but an impressive five sources of vitamin C. Phew! What a powerhouse of ingredients! All of which are included to leave the eye area nourished and brightened.
Not included in the ingredients is the Drunk Elephant Suspicious 6 which includes essential oils, chemical screens, fragrance/dyes and SLS, silicones, fragrances/dyes and skin drying alcohol. I tend to get sensitive eyes especially during hay fever season and this eye cream has not caused any irritation for me.
Packaging and Usage
As ever I adore the packaging from DE and this airless pump bottle is my preferred way to store eye cream. Simply tap this gorgeously hydrating stuff from the outer corners of the eye inwards and over the orbital bone. Blends in a beaut! I only tend to use half a pump. To be used AM + PM on cleansed skin and before you apply any other products.
Would love to know what you think and if you have tried it! What’s your go-to eye cream? Have you tried anything from Drunk Elephant?
