FOM London with love….

Lots of big changes in the Fifi Friendly household means that my morning routine has had to step it up a pace… culture shock. I have always been a fan of using some products that are multi-taskers and this week that has been a godsend. I have started to use FoM Revitalising Hair Serum by Freshness of the Morning London ( and so far it has been ticking all the right boxes.

Freshness of the Morning is an award winning UK company who have a great range of nontoxic and 100% natural skincare products. I first became aware of them after they won an award in Natural Health Magazine. The FoM Revitalising Hair Serum is 100% natural and jam packed with vitamins and its active phyto complex.  In layman’s terms it nourishes, protects, encourages new hair growth and leaves the hair with a great sheen. This is definitely a product where you can apply to suit your hair type. More on de-hydrated days and less if you have fine or oily hair.

The silicone free formula worked well on my hair and it did not leave a heavy residue.  Packed full with a mix of oils including jojoba, rosehip, buritti, manketti and passionflower, I have tried it 3 different ways so far  and to good effect
  • straight from the shower on hair that has had the excess water taken out
  • as a scalp treatment on dry hair
  • as a shine finisher after I have dried my hair

The 100ml glass bottle comes with a pipette for dispensing and is really easy to use. I also felt like I was getting a lot of product given its size and think it will last really well. I sometimes wonder why we get hair serums in such small bottles.I have been so used to using argan oil products on my hair that the citrus aroma of this was refreshing. Very crisp smelling and summer like, almost like a natural perfume.
In the same way that I sometimes add a face oil to a moisturiser to give an intensive boost to my skin, I am going to try adding FoM  to my hair conditioner this weekend and see how it fairs as a mask.
