Another birthday has just passed and although I am not one of those people who fears adding a number to my age, I do tend to be more aware of wrinkles around my birthday. Why would this year be any different. It is no shock to me to realise that it is at this time of year that I start to research how to reduce the appearance of wrinkles!
I get that different creams work for different people, however one product that seems fairly universal in the battle against wrinkles is Hyaluronic Acid. It hydrates and nourishes your skin and joints from the inside and helps maintain moisture levels. I read numerous articles and blogs exclaiming that this product was a must for plumped and hydrated skin. I was sold and got my hands on a bottle of Viridian Nutrition’s High Potency Hyaluronic Acid.
How does Hyaluronic Acid work? We all have it naturally in our body, but like many things, it starts to decline with age. Without blinding you with the scientific facts, it’s molecules essentially bind to water to help lubricate moveable parts of the body like your eyes, joints, muscles and your skin. Time to iron out those wirnkles. I have been taking one of these vegetarian friendly capsules every day for the last three weeks and have noticed some changes to my otherwise fairly dry skin. I am definitely using less serum or face oil in the morning after cleansing for starters! There does also seem to be a textural difference to my skin.
Can I see why Hyaluronic Acid is described as natures moisturiser? 100%. I have even noticed a difference to the hydration of my lips which have been suffering with the changeable weather. This product is very Fifi Friendly as is it free from wheat, gluten, lactose, added sugar, salt, yeast, preservatives and artificial colours.
I have heard some great stories about HA helping people with joint pain, with dry eyes or even post surgery, so I would love to know if you have had any success with it. 30 Capsules cost £30.
